Songs of Sankofa: A Spiritual Journey

The show features a group of Griots who gather to narrate the experience of Black people from the mighty kingdoms on the Niger to the mighty halls of the White House and beyond. The journey is punctuated through music and is ushered along by dance, poetry, and monologues.
